I would agree with that completely if you took down the header that says "download divided by friday" and then has a mediafire link that someone can click to download the songs for free. Downloading music that the artist spent money recording and is charging for, for free, without their permission, is stealing, and there is no justifying that.

I'm gonna have to agree with this guy. You can sugar coat it all you want, claiming to be offering information but you are in fact offering a way for people to steal the music. I was looking for a way to buy it and came across this. I still plan to buy it because I like this band, and have the basic moral fiber to recognize stealing when I see it. If you wanna be informational you should probably take the media fire link. Also I would have to say stealing is rather comparable to selling weed.

You just don`t get the point ... Dude, maybe you have the possibility to buy everything but there are poor peoples out there which maybe better buy food for their children rather then to buy an album, but if not this way, in which way we can make then smile? We cannot gave them money but with a simple link to listen download etc. they can have a few moments when they feel connected to God via the music and they can wish for a better day, and just pray. My point is that no matter how you try to word it or how you to try to justify it, downloading this cd for free is stealing. Divided By Friday is a Christian band, I've met them before and they are some of the most sincere people I have ever met, but they aren't signed or big in any way. I don't know if you're aware, but Divided By Friday is made up of a group of 17 year old High School kids. They put their own money together to do things for the band and when you allow people to steal their cd for free, you make it impossible to do anything. If I can contact one of the members and have them ask you to take it down will you? And at least just replace it with an itunes link? I don't care what reason you put behind it, you provide people with the needed resources to steal and that is unacceptable.

Wow, this is the most blatant violation of copyright laws I've seen in a while. The guys in this band might not know about this, but I do and if the download link to this CD isn't down in 24 hours I'm reporting this website to the proper authorities and you will be fined. The justice system doesn't care what reason you provide. Piracy is Piracy and you will not commit this crime without being punished.

Copyright infringement (or copyright violation) is the unauthorized use of material that is covered by copyright law, in a manner that violates one of the copyright owner's exclusive rights, such as the right to reproduce or perform the copyrighted work, or to make derivative works. That is the text book definition of piracy. Did you ask Divided By Friday if you could put their CD up here? Nope. There for you are Pirating their music. As long as you have that download link up, you are directly violating copy right rules because you are distributing free music with out being authorized to do so.

haha, someone told me about this site and i just wanted to let you guys know we arent mad at anyone. I can see both sides of the argument and while it does suck that our music is being downloaded, this site isn't the problem. There are plenty of other sites that are doing the same and things that are much worse. We want to thank everyone for their support and if you could, please download this off itunes, it would be greatly appreciated.
